I. If stems are readily available in the catalog/on the website
a. Create a new playlist and include the stems in the playlist
b. Send Stems playlist to requestor and let them know that we are more than happy to send them stems in the future, but if we are not readily available for whatever reason the stems we do have on hand are nested under the full version on the website.
II. If stems are not readily available in the catalog/on the website
a. Search Dropbox drive for the Track Title and/or Original Track Title
i. Stems previously created for clients should be in the folder ALIBI-Team>Audio Files>Finals-Stems and Alt Mixes
b. Reply that we do not have them available but will contact the composer immediately and we’ll do our best to quickly deliver them but can’t make a guarantee.
c. Find the Original Filename
i. Search for the song title on source audio
ii. Click on song title to view full information
iii. Click Edit this page in the top left corner
iv. Look for the Original Filename
v. Copy Original Filename
d. Email the composer with subject title “Stems Request [Original Filename]”
i. In the body of the email request stems for the Original Filename, also include the ALIBI name and link to the track on the website
e. We have approximately a 90% success rate in obtaining stems within a day, if not the same day.
f. Once Stems have been received, rename the files to include “ALIBI-“ to the beginning of all the file names and send a .zip file drop box link to client
g. Add Stems to the folder ALIBI-Team>Audio Files>Finals-Stems and Alt Mixes
