Royalty Free Music is a marketing term, not a legal term (shocker!). If you pay for a license to use music with a program you created, you are paying mechanical and synchronization royalties! (Surprise!) Most music libraries that advertise as “royalty free” mean that their artists and composers have been bought out and they do not receive a share of the royalties YOU pay.
